Counterfeiters fined and sent to prison  

三名男子加工假币600万 首犯获刑15年

三名男子在广东省东莞市长安镇的出租房“刷”出六百万元假币，并将其部分流入市场。东莞市第二法院4日作出一审宣判，以伪造假币罪分别判处三名男子入狱6至15年，并处罚金5万至50万元人民币。其中首犯刘某有被判处有期徒刑15年，罚金50万元。

Dongguan (CNS) – Three men were sentenced from six to fifteen years in prison and fined 50,000 to half a million yuan for counterfeiting 100-yuan notes with a face value of six million, the No.2 People's Court of Dongguan City disclosed on July 4.

The three men bought bargain-priced counterfeit notes and started to ease them into the market in August, 2010.

On June 30, the trio were apprehended when they were closing a deal in Chang'an Town, Dongguan city. Police also seized some fake banknotes starting with the serial number KJ3263, with a face value of over three million yuan.
