香港马季15日结束。据香港赛马会当日公布的数据显示，过去一个马季的总投注额达到861亿(港币，下同)，较对上一个马季增加7.1%。
Hong Kong (CNS) -- The Hong Kong Jockey Club notes that the total bets laid for this race season already amount to 86.1 billion Hong Kong dollars (about US$13.5 billion), up 7.1 percent over the previous season according to figures released on Sunday.
Taxes on gambling businesses revenues this season have enriched the SAR government by 10.1 billion HKD. The course has received almost two million visitors in this period, or about 24,000 per day on average.
The 11 races scheduled for the last day of the session drew huge crowds, with official data confirming 74,000 visitors and 1.47 billion HKD in betting turnover, respectively 20 and seven percent more than last year.
