Beijing (CNS) -- Sales of Chinese auto brands hit 3,151,100 in the first half of 2012, down 0.2 percent, accounting for one quarter of total domestic auto sales, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) on Thursday.
Sales of domestic brands declined month by month and reached the lowest point in June, said the CAAM.
An increasing number of consumers favor imported cars, said an expert from the State Information Center of China.
