Roundtable on cross-straits tour cooperation opens  

两岸旅游交流圆桌会议8日高雄登场

第4届海峡两岸旅游交流圆桌会议8日将在高雄举行。据悉，邮轮观光、休闲农业观光及旅游保险与金融，将是今次会议三个主要议题。海峡两岸旅游交流协会(海旅会)会长邵琪伟、台湾海峡两岸观光旅游协会(台旅会)会长谢谓君将出席。

Taipei (CNS) -- The 4th Roundtable conference for tourism exchanges across the straits will be held in Kaohsiung on August 8, on the themes of cruises, leisure farms, travel insurance and financing.

A press release from Taiwan's tourism bureau promises 200 professionals from across the straits will participate in the conference. A delegation from the mainland will visit the cruise ship manufacturing base in Kaohsiung, unusual local residence in Meinong, the Buddha Memorial Hall and Chi Mei Museum.

At present, there are 165 travel agencies on the mainland organizing tours and trips to Taiwan, and the Tourism Administration of China will add yet more travel agencies to this group.
