Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge done in 3 yrs: official   

Zhuhai (CNS) -- "We will try to complete construction within three years and the massive bridge can be put into operation by December 2016 according to the agreement," said Yu Lie of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge Authority.

Yu spoke Thursday at a regional development summit in the coastal city of Zhuhai.

The construction companies are all on site and the work of joining pipe segments under high water pressure will be started this December, said Yu.
