Exxon sues two Chinese companies  

埃克森美孚告中国两家公司侵权 索赔50万

全球500强企业美国埃克森美孚公司认为，广东省江门市埃克森化工公司和北京山水嘉业装饰公司侵犯了其注册商标专用权，将这两家公司告上法庭，要求其停止侵权，赔偿经济损失50万元人民币。北京市第二中级人民法院28日发布消息称，法院已经受理了此案。

Beijing (CNS) -- ExxonMobil has filed lawsuits against two Chinese companies for illegally using its registered trademark, the Beijing No.2 Intermediate People's Court said Tuesday.

The US energy giant alleges that a company in Jiangmen, Guangdong Province, used its Chinese name (埃克森) to sell paint products without authorization and claimed to be Exxon's branch office. A Beijing company is also accused of using similar tactics.

Exxon is demanding both to pay 500,000 yuan for its economic losses.
