Tianjin (CNS) – A group of business leaders on Tuesday expressed their views at the 2012 Summer Davos Forum themed "Creating the Future Economy."

Gao Jifan, chairman and CEO of Trina Solar, said 1.5 billion people still have no access to electricity, which will create opportunities for solar power companies in the future.

Better use of natural resources, including solar, wind and terrestrial heat, will help more low-income people, he added.

Paul Polman, chief executive of Unilever, called for attention to global food issues, saying the world will not be safe and comfortable until those problems are solved.

The changing role of enterprises will accelerate cooperation with the government and help realize a circulating economy, said Feike Sijbesma, chairman of the managing board of Royal DSM.

Both Polman and Christopher A. Viehbacher, CEO of Sanofi, said that China has potential, and is one of the countries that are creating the future economy.
