Cixi (CNS) – The global recession has put many of China's private enterprises under pressure from a tightened loan policy, declining exports and higher labor costs.
A group of private companies gathered to discuss the downturn, and how to survive it, at an investment summit held Wednesday in Cixi, a sub-city of Ningbo, Zhejiang Province.
Wang Guoguang, vice president of the Shanghai Forte Land Company, said that as long as industrialization and urbanization continue in China, the real estate industry will have opportunities.
Li Guoqing from Renhe Solar expressed a similar attitude, saying that the sun will shine again on the solar industry.
Innovation and adjustment are essential for sustainable development, added Mr. Tien-An Lo from Shanghai's Christine International Holdings.
