Guangzhou (CNS) – The number of Cantonese citizens who have chosen Hong Kong and Macao as their destinations for the National Day holiday has increased, according to travel agencies in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province.

Prices of hotels in both Hong Kong and Macao have been increased significantly for the Golden Week, especially from October 1 to 3. Three-star hotels are 60% higher, according to travel agencies.
