秦兵马俑游客近40万人次 引爆迄今最大“人潮”

风靡内地的“全民旅游”大戏7日行将落幕，享有“世界第八大奇迹”美誉的秦始皇帝陵博物院“双节”期间接待游客39.12万人次，同比增长23.03%，其中10月3日达到10万人次(以前最高7万多人次)，创历史新高。

Xi'an (CNS) – A total of 391,200 tourists visited the Terracotta Warriors in northwest China's Shaanxi Province during the Mid-Autumn Festival/National Day holiday, according to the Xi'an Municipal Tourism Administration on Sunday.

A record 100,000 people visited on October 3, topping the previous peak of 70,000, the administration said.

Tourists were allowed into pit 1 and the pit of the bronze chariot every five to ten minutes to keep order, said Tian Jing, vice president of the Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Park.

Tourists to the park increased by 23 percent during the holiday, and other historical sites in the city also saw crowds of sightseers, the tourism authority said.
