香港已故富豪霍英东长孙霍启刚与中国跳水冠军郭晶晶8日结束7年爱情长跑,“跳水公主”正式嫁入霍家豪门。
Hong Kong (CNS) -- Multi-Olympic gold winner Guo Jingjing on Thursday tied the knot with Kenneth Fok Kai-kong, the son of Hong Kong tycoon Timothy Fok Tsun-Ting. The two have been together for seven years.
Their marriage registration, the prelude to a multi-day, multi-city celebration, took place at about noon at the Fok family mansion, which covers more than 3,000 square meters in Hong Kong.
Former Hong Kong justice minister Elsie Leung Oi-sie married the couple. The ceremony was attended by the parents of both sides, as well as famous guests such as George Lam, Sally Yeh and Wu Minxia, Guo's former teammate and bridesmaid.
The ceremony attracted more than 100 journalists and photographers, some of whom used cranes to get a better view.
A feast will be held in Guangdong Province before the celebration shifts to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on Sunday, when more relatives, celebrities and political figures are expected to attend.
