中国商务部8日公布相关高性能不锈钢无缝钢管反倾销案终裁结果,决定自本月9日起,对原产于欧盟和日本的进口上述产品征收9.2%至14.4%的反倾销税,实施期限为5年。
Beijing (CNS) -- China's Ministry of Commerce said Thursday that it will levy five-year anti-dumping duties on high-performance stainless steel seamless tubes imported from the EU and Japan starting today.
The tariff rate ranges from 9.2 percent to 14.4 percent, said the ministry.
Chinese companies have complained that EU and Japanese competitors were selling seamless tubes at unfair low prices, and that the dumping had damaged the industry in the country.
The ministry launched an anti-dumping probe into tubes made in the EU and Japan in September 2011. It announced a preliminary ruling on May 8 that both had been dumping high-performance stainless steel seamless tubes onto the Chinese market.
Since 2009, Chinese seamless tube manufacturers have been met constantly with anti-dumping investigations by the EU, India, the U.S., Mexico and other countries. The EU imposed a final anti-dumping duty ranging from 48.3 percent to 71.9 percent on tubes imported from China at the end of 2011.
