65岁的英国歌手埃尔顿？约翰25日晚在北京华丽开唱。宝石蓝衬衫、宝石蓝框眼镜、黑色礼服镶嵌了各种宝石蓝亮片……以一身极具个人特色的装束闪爆全场。

Beijing(CNS) -- Enduring rock and roll legend Elton John made a special appearance in Beijing on Sunday.

The 65-year-old superstar selected 30 classic songs from over 40 albums for his Chinese fans, including "Candle In The Wind," a tribute to Diana, Princess of Wales.

Fans said that John performed the whole concert on his own and made them feel that the concert was worth the high price of admission.

The Beijing concert was the second stop on John's China tour to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his career.

Known as a national treasure in the UK, John is one of the most famous international superstars to perform in the capital.
