西安发生人质劫持事件 犯罪嫌疑人被警方制服

10日下午，西安市发生一起人质劫持事件，一男子持刀劫持2名人质，并声称携带炸药。西安警方制服犯罪嫌疑人，被劫持人质杨某、洪某(女、9岁)2人安全获救。

Xi'an (CNS) -- Xi'an police on Monday apprehended a man who had kidnapped a woman and a 9-year-old girl at knifepoint in an underground parking lot. Both hostages were rescued.

The man had carjacked a Mercedes SUV containing the woman and the girl at around 3:30 p.m., claiming he was carrying explosives. He was subdued by police 20 minutes later.

The suspect surnamed Liang said he had been drinking heavily and quarreling with his girlfriend beforehand, police said.

The case is under investigation.
