700,000 college students to go home for Lunar New Year

北京各大专院校放假时间集中在2013年1月11日至2月1日。北京铁路局预计，节前北京地区返家学生将超过70万人，其中该局将为37万名学生集中办理返家火车票。

Beijing (CNS) -- Railway agencies will begin dealing with round-trip tickets for Beijing college students on December 15 through a variety of channels, according to Beijing railway authorities on Wednesday.

It's estimated that over 700,000 college students in the capital will take trains home for the Chinese Spring Festival holiday, which falls on February 9, 2013.

To ensure that students get home for the holiday, additional trains will be opened if transport capacity cannot handle passenger flow, railway authorities said.
