被曝光违规喂食金刚烷胺、利巴韦林等抗病毒药品的“速生鸡”流入上海百胜旗下餐饮机构一事,引发沪上人士广泛关注。
Shanghai (CNS)-- KFC has an active attitude toward inspections by authorities into its food safety, an insider said Tuesday.
In late November, a supplier to the fast food giant was accused of feeding "toxic" chemicals to chickens which helped them grow an average 2.5 kilograms in 40 days.
KFC released a statement on its microblog saying that its contracted chicken suppliers are all in accordance with a strict quality evaluation system, and that every supplier is subject to annual review.
KFC has stopped purchasing chicken from illegal suppliers since August this year, according to the insider.
