印尼媒体22日援引国家博物馆馆长莹丹的话报道称,印尼将派专家和中国北京故宫博物馆共同追溯和探究沉没在印尼400处海底的中国古代陶瓷器。
Jakarta (CNS)-- China and Indonesia will work together to find ancient Chinese porcelain long lost in Indonesian waters, according to an official from the National Museum of Indonesia on Saturday.
Chinese merchant boats loaded with porcelain and other goods often sailed to Indonesia in ancient times, so a large amount of porcelain is expected to be found at nearly 400 shipwreck sites, the official said.
We will send experts to collaborate with the Palace Museum in Beijing to conduct the exploration work, he said.
The two museums signed a letter of intent in April, agreeing to cooperate in the preservation and protection of cultural relics.
