Bent official’s wife sacked by Red Cross  

李春城之妻曲松枝被免职 成都红会称不方便回应

24日，有媒体披露原中共四川省委副书记李春城的妻子、成都市红十字会党组书记曲松枝日前已被免职，接替其职位的是原成都市机关事务局副局长朱志萍。

Chengdu (CNS) -- Qu Songzhi, the wife of a corrupt official in Sichuan Province, has been removed from her position at the Chengdu branch of the Red Cross Society of China, according to reports on Thursday.

Qu is the wife of Li Chuncheng, who was fired from his post as deputy secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC for "serious discipline violations" last December.

Qu was a hospital worker before her husband was appointed Chengdu party chief in 2003, after which she was quickly promoted and became a section chief at the city health bureau.

She became party secretary of the Chengdu Red Cross in 2009.
