一批中国秦朝时期珍贵出土文物20日在美国旧金山亚洲艺术博物馆与媒体见面。馆方表示,这是美国本土首次举办以秦朝为主题的大型中国文物特展。
San Francisco (CNS) -- An exhibition of Qin Dynasty artifacts is scheduled to open Friday at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco.
Featuring 123 rare objects, including life-sized terracotta figures, bronze swords, and oblations from one of the greatest archaeological discoveries in recent history, the exhibition will take visitors on a journey from the birth and rise of the Qin Empire to the life and rule of the first emperor, his quest for immortality, his death, burial and complex legacy, according to the museum.
All of the 123 objects have been borrowed from 13 Museums and archaeology institutes in Shaanxi Province.
The exhibition is co-hosted by the Asian Art Museum, the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and the Cultural Relics Bureau of Shaanxi Province.
