李安自剖19年征战奥斯卡心路 盼再拍片夺外语片

据台湾《苹果日报》消息，李安是否能再夺奥斯卡金像奖最佳导演，今天上午举行的奥斯卡颁奖典礼将给答案。1994年，他以《喜宴》首度入围奥斯卡金像奖最佳外语片，自谦“那时英文还很烂”，老婆担心地问他：“你准备穿什么？”记者提醒他那已是19年前的事，他惊讶地说：“哇，这么久啦。”表示有机会盼再拍片入围最佳外语片。

Beijing (CNS) -- Ang Lee, who has just won a second directing Oscar for "Life of Pi," recalled his Academy Award journey in an interview Sunday.

Lee mentioned "The Wedding Banquet," which was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film in 1994, when his "English was very poor."

"I might have had similar ways of producing Hollywood blockbusters if I were an American. However, as a foreign director in the United States, I have to force myself to explore non-commercial films," he said.

Lee also said he had worried about "losing face" when "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" was nominated for ten Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Foreign Language Film and Best Director.
