3月16日晚21时许,记者从二连浩特铁路口岸获悉,于3月12日从北京始发的中蒙俄试运行国际铁路联运新型客车K3/4次已于当晚21:00入境,目前一切顺利。
Erenhot (CNS) -- The China-Mongolia-Russia trans-continent train K3/4 returned to China on Saturday night, finishing a smooth trial run.
Seventy crew members on 12 carriages were trained during the journey. Fuel-servicing, fire control and other equipment were also tested.
The train departed from Beijing on March 12 and went through Erenhot in north China's Inner Mongolia, then Zamyn-Uud and Ulan Bator in Mongolia, followed by Naushki and Ulan-Ude in Russia before arriving in Irkutsk.
The train will stop at 33 stations when put into service. Time needed for a single journey of 7,858 kilometers is 132 hours, or 13 days round trip.
