从今年4月1日起,北京出售的药品将全部具有“身份证”,以实现对其从生产厂家到终端销售的全程电子监管。
Beijing (CNS) -- Beijing will launch an electronic drug supervision network on April 1 to improve the quality of medicine for residents in the city, according to Cong Luoluo, director of the Beijing Food and Drug Administration, on Tuesday.
Under the network, the production, logistics and curative effects of all medicines sold in Beijing will be put under electronic monitoring, said Cong.
All essential drugs sold in Beijing will have their electronic identities printed on their packages. Users can check any information about the medicines they bought on the official website of the Beijing Drug Administration, according to Cong.
The administration also opened a tip-off hotline on Thursday. Residents in Beijing can dial 12331 to report any problems with medicines or medical devices, Cong added.
