泰国公主诗琳通殿下的最新泰语译作《她的城》首发仪式,28日在曼谷香格里拉酒店隆重举行。
Bangkok (CNS) -- Thailand's Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn released her latest translation of a Chinese work at Bangkok's Shangri-la Hotel on Thursday.
The book is based on the novel "Her City" by a female writer in central China's Hubei province.
Li Xiaolin, president of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries; Guan Mu, ambassador of China to Thailand; and Wang Junzheng, vice governor of Hubei province, participated in the event along with 200 other people.
Princess Sirindhorn has studied the Chinese language since 1980 and visited China more than 30 times.
About 200 famous ancient poems from China's Tang Dynasty (618-907) and Song Dynasty (960-1279) have been translated into Thai. Famous novels, prose and poetry by modern Chinese writers have also been translated and introduced to Thailand by Sirindhorn.
