中国社科院农村发展研究所今日发布的《农村绿皮书》指出,2013年粮食总产量可能迈上新台阶,达到6亿吨,预测2013年中国农产品生产价格上涨约8%,2013年粮食生产价格上涨约9%。
Beijing (CNS) -- China's grain output is expected to reach 594 million tons in 2013, a record high, thanks to high yields in most crops, according to a green book on rural economy.
The Green Book of Rural Area: Analysis and Forecast on China's Rural Economy (2012-2013), released on Wednesday, predicts that in 2013, the country's grain output may exceed 600 million tons, if no big natural disaster occurs.
As a result of the increased minimum purchase price of wheat and grains, as well as the influence of government policies, the producer price of grain in 2013 is expected to grow nine percent year on year.
The green book said the producer price of farm products may increase by about 8 percent year on year, which may lead food prices to go up by seven percent.
The green book was jointly released by the Rural Development Institute under the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Social Sciences Academic Press.
