Qufu (CNS) -- Visitors who plan to visit the Three Memorial Edifices of Confucius, or "San Kong" in Qufu, Shandong province during the May Day holiday may get a chance to enter free of charge, according to the scenic spot's management on Thursday.
The move is part of a campaign to promote Confucianism during the forthcoming May Day holiday.
According to the rules of the campaign, from May 1 to May 7, visitors who can recite 30 short articles from the Analects of Confucius within ten minutes can waive the entrance fee.
The Three Memorial Edifices of Confucius refer to the Confucius Temple, the Confucius Mansion and the Confucius Cemetery.
