(CNS) -- After three explosions in Boston on Monday, the Economic and Commercial Counsellor's Office of the People's Republic of China in the United States of America issued a notice today, which urges the China General Chamber of Commerce in the US and Chinese businesses in the US to tighten their security.
The notice urges Chinese businesses in the US to develop and deliver plans for emergency security drills and exercises for their employees.
According to the notice, Chinese businesses should keep in close contact with local US governments, security department, medical institutes, and the embassies and consulates of China in the US.
Chinese businesses in the US are also urged to strengthen security training for their employees, in order to ensure the safety of Chinese in the US.
Three explosions rocked the US city of Boston on Monday afternoon, killing three and injuring over 100, turning the traditional local marathon festivity into a scene of blood and terror.
The investigation is still underway.
