(ECNS) -- Several Hong Kong groups staged protests outside the Philippines Consulate-General in Hong Kong over the killing of a Taiwanese fisherman by the Philippines coast guard in disputed waters last week, said a report on www.stnn.cc.
About 50 people gathered outside the United Centre building and demanded an apology and compensation from Manila over the "cold-blooded murder" of the fisherman.
One of the protesters and the president of one group, surnamed Chen, said they are angry at what the Philippines is doing to the Chinese people.
Protesters left after filing a letter of petition.
