Guangzhou (CNS) -- This year's Hong Kong Book Fair will include a special exhibition displaying a 3D image of the Mogao Grottoes, according to a program organizer in Guangzhou on Tuesday.

By applying advanced virtual reality technology, the 3D exhibition will expose the amazing frescos at the Mogao Grottoes. Visitors can also enjoy the details of the relics by enlargening the image of the wall paintings.

The 24th Hong Kong Book Fair will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from July 17 to 23. Nearly 400 cultural events will be held during the period.

A total of 560 businesses from over 20 countries have signed up to exhibit.

Several famous writers including Liang Xiaosheng, Wang Anyi, and Xi Murong have also been invited to the event.
