Chengdu (CNS)-- Global IT giant Intel Group is optimistic about its business in China, said Bian Chenggang, general manager of Intel Products, in Chengdu on Friday.
Bian made the remarks in an interview at the Fortune Global Forum.
Intel Group is facing a transition period, Bian said, adding that the company is trying to expand its business from the traditional PC-based intelligence application to applications for all kinds of smart devices, and mobile terminals in particular.
Bian pointed out that China is now leading the development trend in the global mobile phone market, and the country is expected to witness a boom in innovations related to mobile phones and tablet PCs.
China's market is quite attractive in terms of its strong talent pool and infrastructure, said Ge Jun, managing director of Intel China.
Against the backdrop of a global economic integration, the business environment of China's market will also be optimized in the future, Ge added.
