(ECNS) -- A 24-hour Chinese-language music radio, located at FM 93.5, was launched in Las Vegas, the United States, on Monday local time, after a five-month trail.
This is the first Chinese-language radio that uses frequency modulation, or FM, to broadcast high-quality music programming for Chinese Americans in the United States. Chinese-language radio still uses AM to transmit signals, although they have a history of dozens of years in the US.
EDI Media Inc., the organizer of FM 93.5 radio, said it is time to upgrade radio programs, as the audience for Chinese-language radio is becoming massive.
FM 93.5 features music programs in Chinese, satisfying the needs of local citizens in Las Vegas and a large number of visitors from China.
EDI Media Inc. also said it is trying to integrate FM radio stations in other cities in the United States to launch more and better programs for local Chinese Americans.
