(ECNS) -- As the United States relaxes its visa rules for Chinese tourists, taking wedding photographs in the country has become popular among new Chinese couples.

By taking wedding photos abroad, couples not only can add exotic features to their photos, but also can go sightseeing around the United States.

According to one wedding dress industry worker, scenic spots in Southern California such as Laguna Beach are among the hottest shooting locations for Chinese couples who want to take pictures against the backdrop of US blue sea and clear sky.

While on the shooting trip, couples usually pay for board and lodging for photographers and stylists traveling with them.

Although labor costs in the US are much higher than in China, the newlyweds dedicated to creating romantic and exotic memories don't care about the costs, said the worker.

"Some newlyweds even join wedding dress tour groups, which are formed by three or more couples," she said, adding that "the couples can save money by sharing tour expenses like car rentals and the cost of hiring photographers."
