(ECNS)-- Taiwan may release its investigation report on the Guang Ta Hsin 28 shooting incident this week, according to local media on Monday.
A Taiwan fisherman on the fishing boat Guang Ta Hsin 28 was shot dead by the Philippine Coast Guard on May 9.
Although two months have passed since Taiwan imposed sanctions against the Philippines, the Philippine side hasn't released its investigation report on the shooting incident.
If the Philippines is found to be delaying the release of its investigation report deliberately, Taiwan will release the report this week, according to Ming-Tang Chen, an official from the Taiwan department of justice.
