Armed robbers kill Chinese man in Zimbabwe

(ECNS) -- A Chinese man was shot to death Tuesday in an armed robbery at a gold field in Zimbabwe, according to the Chinese Embassy in the southern African country.

The man encountered the robbery at around 1 a.m. at the gold field owned by a Chinese-invested company.

The embassy has ordered all Chinese-invested enterprises in the country to upgrade their security measures.

Businesses should also ask their employees to raise safety awareness, the embassy said.
