(ECNS) -- Croatia's Museum of Broken Relationships has opened its traveling exhibit in Taipei, tvbs.com.tw reported on Wednesday.

Unlike other museum exhibits, this one showcases everyday objects donated by individuals to inspire locals who have gone through similar experiences, according to event organizers.

Each item on display, such as sneakers, magnifying glass, and dresses, tells a heartbroken story about the owners. Visitors can leave messages to express their feelings.

On the opening day, an 86-year-old man and his grandson visited the exhibition. The old man wrote on the wall that he had just broken up with his lover not long ago.

The exhibition has attracted tens of thousands, as the museum traveled to more than 14 countries and regions.
