Lushan (ECNS) -- The Lushan Public Security Bureau in Henan province said on Monday that eight auxiliary police officers have been dismissed for driving police cars without permission and for skinny-dipping, and the office director in charge that day has also been removed.

A Sina Weibo post on Sunday disclosed that two police cars parked by a river in the Lushan scenic spot, and some people went skinny-dipping in the river.

That night, the bureau declared on its Weibo that the police cars at the scenic spot were confirmed as the official assigned vehicles and that further investigation was under way.

It was also proposed that the chief of traffic police be dismissed and that the deputy police commissioner in charge of the traffic office be given an administrative demerit.
