(ECNS) -- The Chinese Embassy in the UK has issued a warning to Chinese tourists against the threat of robbery, according to Britain's Chinese Business Gazette.
The embassy reminded Chinese citizens to step up vigilance, keep personal belongings safe and safeguard their legal rights.
As summer holiday is the peak tourist season, a large number of Chinese are traveling in the UK.
In mid-July, a Chinese family from Xiamen, Fujian province, found their luggage stolen from their rented car while traveling to York.
A similar case happened when a woman from East China's Anhui province was robbed of her wallet by two women selling roses on a street near the local Chinatown.
In early August, another Chinese woman's bag was stolen when she went to a restroom in Bicester Village, an outlet shopping center located in Oxfordshire.
The embassy also reminded Chinese citizens to arrange visas and tickets in legal ways.
