Beijing (CNS) -- NBA star Jeremy Lin launched his 2013 basketball camp on Sunday at the Wukesong Basketball Stadium in Beijing.
Lin will hold a coaching clinic for three days with 60 promising young Chinese basketball players.
Three-pointer specialist Steve Novak, Lin's teammate at the New York Knicks, also arrived in Beijing to be one of the coaches for the camp.
"I hope by launching the camp, young players can improve their basketball skills under the training of Jeremy Lin and Steve Novak," said Li Qun, president of the Dongguan Basketball School, at a press conference held for the camp.
At the press conference, Jeremy Lin answered reporters' questions in fluent Chinese.
"During the period of my offseason, I usually hold video chats with my language teacher to improve my Chinese," he said.
It is the second time the NBA player has visited Beijing and held a basketball training camp.
