(ECNS) -- Li Na is eating the breakfast of champions, but she's not giving away the recipe.
Li rolled past Serbia's Jelena Jankovic at the US Open on Monday. In an interview after the match, she was asked what special food she had eaten for breakfast that morning. She said with a smile: "I'm not gonna tell you. It's a secret, and I will have the same food before the next match."
Li routed the Serbian 6-3, 6-0 to advance to the fourth round.
"It's a tough match. She (Jankovic) is pretty good at defending. Maybe I played one of the best matches in my whole life," she added.
Next up for Li in the quarterfinals is 24th-seeded Ekaterina Makarova of Russia, who upset third-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska in the third round.
