Brussels (CNS) -- A pair of young giant pandas will soon call Pairi Daiza Zoo in Belgium home.
A deal was reached by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and Belgian Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo on Wednesday during Rupo's visit to China.
The 4-year-old male and female pandas, Xinhui and Haohao, will arrive at the zoo in spring of 2014 and be on loan for 15 years.
Pairi Daiza said it had already begun work building a special "panda hall" in its Chinese garden that integrates a Sichuan style setting.
A team of Chinese experts will be dispatched to the zoo to help take care of the pandas.
Crowned as one of the most beautiful parks in Belgium, Pairi Daiza is a privately owned 55-hectare zoo and botanical garden located in Brugelette in the province of Hainaut.
The zoo is home to over 5,000 animals and a large Chinese garden.
