(ECNS) -- An official Weibo of Zhaoqing's Duanzhou District, Guangdong province, said Monday that officials at Huanggang Subdistrict Office didn't watch a pole dancing performance, as alleged by a netizen, during their travel in Guangxi province, according to people.com.cn.
But it admitted the officials did use public money for traveling, and said the local disciplinary department will investigate.
A post released on Sunday by "Zhaoqingzhengyiqunv" said the Duanzhou officials organized the trip to Yangshuo, Guangxi province, with public money.
The leaders of the office and its staff members watched the pole dancing, according to the post. The leader required everyone to watch the performance for fear of leaks, even though some staff members were reluctant.
