(ECNS) -- Drawing inspiration from a popular Finnish photoblog, a mother in Taiwan has transformed her sleeping daughter into adorable characters in dreamlike scenes by using colorful fabrics and household objects, according to Taiwan media.
Qiu Jingwen, a full-time mother in Tainan, said she imagines what her daughter Qianqian's dreams are like as she watches her sleeping peacefully. Qiu then tries to recreate the scenes with clothes, spoons and other objects before capturing them with her camera.
She has taken 50 photos in the past year and uploaded them to her social networking page "Qianqian's Wonderland," where more than 1,700 visitors have clicked the "like" button. In the photos, Qianqian is dressed up as a mermaid, Chang'e (the Chinese goddess of the Moon), and even Pi from "Life of Pi."
Qiu said she will make the photos into an album and give them to her daughter as a gift when she grows up.
