(ECNS) -- China's top female tennis player Li Na will play against the World No. 1 men's singles player Novak Djokovic on Friday at China Open, which is being held in Beijing, according to Guangzhou Daily.
To make the exhibition charity match light-hearted and fun, Li was supported by the China Open committee to set some rules. Li revealed that one of the rules was Djokovic had no right to serve on court.
The "battle of the sexes" was proposed by Djokovic, said He Lihua, a staffer from the Committee.
"Djokovic already had the idea before 2011 China Open, but had to put it off for his injury."
Profits from the match will be donated to the youth tennis development program at the Soong Ching Ling Foundation.
Li's sponsor also said they will donate $6,178 for each of her aces.
