(ECNS) – A young man on Friday morning was found selling a special service on a roadside in Wuhan: customers could pay to spit on him, slap his ears, or force him to kneel, the local Chutian Metropolis Daily reports.
The 28-year-old man surnamed Qin charged 10 yuan ($1.63) for being spat on, 20 yuan ($3.27) for kneeling down, and 100 yuan ($16.34) for being slapped. Spitting and slapping services were exclusively provided to female customers, however.
Qin said he wanted to start his own business and do something others dare not try.
On the back of his vest were the words: "You can spit on my face, but not behind my back." Qin said customers were not allowed to degrade his dignity.
But one onlooker said the service did degrade his dignity, and that young people should find real jobs.
Another said even though the man's idea is novel, the way he marketed the service was hard to accept.
