(ECNS) -- Bath centers in China are expected to ban people who suffer from sexually transmitted diseases (STD), according to a draft regulation released by the Ministry of Commerce.
According to the draft "Administrative Method to Regulate the Bathing Industry," bath centers in China should set up clear signs forbidding those with STDs, such as AIDS patients, or those suffering from infectious skin diseases from entering.
The draft also defines the scope of the bathing industry: businesses that provide services like bathing, spa, foot massages, and hot spring baths all belong.
The commerce ministry has started to solicit public opinion on the implementation of the draft.
