(ECNS) -- "Tianhe Voice," China's first prison TV station, celebrated its 10th anniversary in Beijing on Wednesday, the Beijing Times reported.
Initiated by the Tianhe prison in Beijing's Daxing district, the TV station aims to ease the mental stress of prisoners and tap their potential.
The station started out with only one room, a computer and a video camera, but now has 15 programs. It is also planning to establish an online media platform.
