Cameron gives signed football jersey to Xi Jinping

(ECNS) -- Visiting British Prime Minister David Cameron gave Chinese President Xi Jinping a jersey signed by the current national football team of England, according to Xinhua News Agency.

Cameron also gave him a pair of Mulberry gloves for his wife, Peng Liyuan.

Premier Li Keqiang and his wife were given several volumes by the visiting PM, including biographies of Margaret Thatcher, Winston Churchill and Benjamin Disraeli as well as Robert Hardman's Our Queen.

Li's wife Cheng Hong, an English professor, was given copies of winners of the Man Booker Prize from the last five years, including novels by Hilary Mantel and Julian Barnes.

Li also got a tennis racket signed by Wimbledon champion Andy Murray.
