(ECNS) -- A man has made headlines by offering to spend one million yuan ($165,229) to rent a girlfriend, the Zhengzhou Evening News reported.
A netizen with Sina Weibo account called "Host of a Henan news broadcast," said a man wants to hire a girl to accompany him to family reunions during the upcoming Spring Festival via a social media platform Weiju.

He requires that the girl be younger than 25, taller than 1.68 meters, lighter than 50 kg, "sweet" and have a bachelors degree at least. If the girl has a doctorate or is a virgin, he will pay 10 percent more, he said.
He also promised a charter flight to Zhengzhou and then back to Shenzhen.
More than 10,000 comments have been made on the post. Some said it was a publicity stunt, while others expressed regret at not being an eligible woman.
