(ECNS) -- Chinese real estate tycoon Wang Shi has attributed his being labeled as "no bribery" to the absurdity of society, the Beijing News said on Tuesday.

"People lack integrity," said Wang, who is founder of China Vanke, the largest real estate company in China.

Wang said he has been labeled by media as "entrepreneur," "climber" and "no bribery," the latter of which he finds to be most suitable.

No entrepreneur would admit to bribery in public, he said, but few dare to say in public that they don't engage in bribery, especially in the real estate industry.

"It is absurd to consider 'no bribery' as a label in our society, but I cherish it," he said. "It is easy not to bribe, but it is difficult to do business without bribery."

Wang has established business principles for his company that differ greatly from industry standards, according to media reports.

Wang is also an avid climber. He became the oldest person to successfully scale the highest peaks in each of the seven continents, as well as the North and South Pole.
