(ECNS) -- China's troubled lunar rover, Yutu, has come back to life, Xinhua News Agency said on a verified social media account Thursday. [Special coverage]
"Yutu has revived. It came back to life! As long as it is alive, there is possibility that we could save it," Xinhua quoted Pei Zhaoyu, spokesman for the lunar program, as saying on Sina Weibo, China's Twitter-like service.
Yutu experienced mechanical problems on Jan 25, and had been unable to function since then.
