(ECNS) – A video and several photos released online showed two men, with no safety equipment, climbing the still under construction Shanghai Tower, which is about 650 meters tall and is considered the tallest building in China and second tallest in the world, according to xinmin.cn.

Vadim Makhorov and Vitaliy Raskalov, of Russia, scaled and snapped photos atop Egypt's Great Pyramid of Giza last year.

The video recorded how the pair of climbers evaded security, and the whole process of them climbing the tower.

It's not the first time that foreign climbers challenged tall buildings in Shanghai. In 2007, French urban climber Alain Robert scaled Jin Mao Building in Shanghai. The adventure later led to his arrest and he was jailed for five days before being expelled from China.
